October 6, 2008 > New Training Strategy and Plan available for download


Julie Evans, Training Co-ordinator, has prepared the BSCB's training strategy and plan to cover the period to 2010.  The two documents highlight the ongoing commitment of the Board to deliver high quality training for staff and volunteers working with children and young people in the Bradford District.

June 23, 2008 > Safeguarding Academy honours child protection heroine

Lynne White who dedicated her life to supporting and protecting children and young people across the UK has been honoured by a national Safeguarding Children organisation she helped in its formative years. 

A cheque for £5,000 in memory of Lynne White, who died in March, has been presented by the Safeguarding Children e-Academy in Ilkley to Martin House Hospice for Children and Young People, based near Boston Spa, Wetherby.
